Transforming Lives in South Pierce County
Text Box: On October 19th, our congregation called Dave Williams to come and be our pastor. Dave accepted and started immediately. Dave is encouraged about our congregation. He has said, “I see an opportunity in this church. This is a church that has had to pull back and redefine itself, but that is now ready to start growing again and become an influence for Christ in the neighborhood.” Also, “My education is in Theology and Bible, but my focus is the generations that exist in a congregation and what each generation brings to the church body. I sincerely believe God gifts His people to accomplish His work. I believe under the Holy Spirit’s leading, we can again fill this church building with families that need Jesus in their lives.” Dave and Lois currently work for the State of Washington. Dave will be pastoring our congregation in a part-time role. Ultimately, we hope that we will be able to grow and this will become a full-time pastorate. Dave and his wife Lois live in north Olympia.
